Dust clouds rising where the old jail stands
Boot prints fading in the blood red sand
Cold steel hanging from a weathered hand
Living like an outlaw in a broken land

Tumbleweed rolling as the outlaw rides slow
Wanted dead or alive on the poster as he goes

Got a long black coat and a shadowed face
Wanted signs nailed up in every place
